A SOUND PAST
Founded in 1980 and specialised in work under contract for the production of tables and chairs for the residential, contract and office sectors as company “Emme.I.” (italian “M” (emme) and “I” (e') shorten from “mobile italiana” - Italian furniture) has rapidly succeeded in becoming an international leader, exporting products with a tangible quality the world over. In the '90s the company was engaged in the gradual direct commercialisation of its products and the specialised development of chairs and tables made in leather and metal.
The company philosophy has been based on growth and evolution, as well as capturing the constant challenges and changes of an increasingly demanding market. In view of this, in 2005, the company laid the foundations of a new corporate quest, focusing on the specialised retailer as its main interlocutor.
A BRILLIANT PRESENT
In 2011 the brand Emmei has been taken over by F2-Form and Function S.r.l., a division of the international industrial group “NIKROM Group”, operating in the furniture field since 1991 and one of the leading european manufactures for home and office solutions.
Only an year later, F2 become the brand name and official corporate identity of the collections provided by the company.
Thanks to a 20-years-long experience and a solid know-how, F2 is developing the brand further, allowing it to continue to grow internationally.
The company is proposing a wider and diversified choice of furniture products in contemporary lifestyle, both for indoor and outdoor, but is also dedicating its creative and productive resources to parallel areas: the contract and the office sector.
F2 is constantly focused on the search of quality and utmost respect for the environment. All products pass the highest quality control tests and are created with a high functional and aesthetic life expectancy.
LIVING FOR PEOPLE collection: A STRONG PERSONALITY, A CONTINUOUS EVOLUTION
Created in 2006 to expand across new international horizons, the LIVING FOR PEOPLE collection consists of chairs, tables and occasional furnishings that are modern, linear, functional, full of personality and long lasting.
The products express Italian design and style, blending the quality of craftsmanship - thanks to the skill of the Industrial Chair District that has a long tradition in this product field - to the most efficient modern industrial processes.
During the years, the collection has grown by constantly interpreting the new trends in living and to fully respond to the needs of a larger international audience.
In 2012 F2 has presented a large number of new products which now enrich the LIVING FOR PEOPLE collection. On show at Milano Furniture Fair, the novelties have received excellent critical and commercial acclaim. Design and innovation are the major growth driver for F2: the new products investigate on new styles and shapes, with a change of perspective in using materials such as wood, stone, metal and fabrics. They are pieces of ageless quality and beauty, shaped to create Interiors with a strong character.
